That’s a Wrap on Breeding — Time to Start Ultrasounding!
Another busy and exciting kidding season has come to an end here at We Goat This Oberhasli Dairy Goats, and what a season it was! With months of late nights, early mornings, and plenty of baby goat energy, we're grateful for a healthy, successful year and for all the wonderful kids born on our farm.
Now that the last does have been bred and everyone has settled in, we're officially transitioning into the next stage of our schedule: pregnancy ultrasounds for the upcoming 2026 kidding season.
As we begin confirming pregnancies, we'll be checking each doe to verify successful breedings and make sure they're on track as we move into the next season. Ultrasounding is one of our favorite parts of herd management — it helps us plan ahead, stay organized, and keep our does in the best condition possible.
Over the next several weeks, we'll be updating our website with confirmed pregnancies, due dates, and any available reservation spots.
